Tours and Activities
At One World Language School we believe that language learning and adventure go hand in hand so we organize one activity afternoon or evening activity per week for clients, always accompanied by a member of our staff. These include sunset cruises, mini-golf, picnics, pub crawls, a visit to a local wine farm, Robben Island, a hike up Table Mountain or out to a restaurant where one can sample the local cuisine.

If you are looking for adventure activities, look no further. We can arrange for you to participate in water-skiing, horse riding, hiking, fishing, wind-surfing, quad biking, paint ball forest adventure, sand boarding, jumping, paragliding, safari game drives, abseiling, rock-climbing, high and low ropes challenge. For those who want to see more of South Africa, or visit some of its neighbours, we recommend Tourism that Cares www.tourismthatcares.com. They offer a wide range of tours to satisfy all tastes, budgets and time-schedules. When contacting them, just let them know you were referred by One World Language School.

From Switzerland:

Although the school doesn't have many students, it was great because I got a lot of individual attention which wouldn't have been possible at most language schools. There were never more than five students in a class. Thank you to all the teachers, Melvin, Verna, Roxanne and Fran.

From Angola:

My teacher Melvin is so nice. He picked me up at the airport and even allowed me and other students to join him and his family most weekends. I never received such personal attention and met so many people in such a short period of time. Thank you very much and for sure, you will see me back next year.

From Switzerland:

Melvin, the owner of OWLS is a super guy. He is the best teacher I ever had and I have been to schools in England, America and one in Cape Town.  Thank you so much for looking after me and helping me gain confidence to speak English. I now speak English on a daily basis because I need it in my job.

From Japan:

One World Language School is really nice. I met students from Brazil, Switzerland, Gabon, Germany, Turkey and Congo, Brazzaville. It was great because we all had to speak English when we were together. This is different to when I went to a school in Cape Town, where most of the students were German or Libyan. See you guys next year!

Noriko

From France:

I miss the teachers and students at OWLS. Thank you for helping me with my English and for passing the IELTS exam. I'm planning to go to university in Australia, so thank you for helping me.

Denise

From France:

I loved studying at OWLS, Stellenbosch. There were so many wonderful memories for example, visiting an ostrich farm, wine farm and having lunch at the beach with Melvin and his family. It's the first time I have experienced the owner of a language school not only spending their private time with students, but also teaching them. Wonderful!  My only regret is that there weren't enough single guys at the school. The ladies out numbered the guys 5 to 1. Oh well, at least I learnt a lot and have made many friends.
